HEY FRIEND, WELCOME!

I'm a second generation stylist and I work with my momma in her salon, Carmen's Clips & Tips. Ironically, growing up as a hairstylists' daughter I didn't have much interest in doing hair. It wasn't until after I graduated a local cosmetology school (yes, after) that I realized I had found my passion. I fell in love with the art and creativity. I fell in love with the continuous education but most of all I fell in love with the feeling I get when someone leaves my space loving the way they look! Maybe it was in my blood all along but I do believe sometimes a profession just picks you!

Twelve years later and I'm still in love with my career but its my time off that recharges me for busy weeks in the salon. When not working you can most likely find me at home reading a fictional thriller, cuddling up with my fur babes, baking, searching pinterest for a delicious new cocktail to make, painting, or pretending to be a photographer. My husband and I also enjoy attending community events with friends and family or when looking for a get away we love road trips to surrounding towns spending the day shopping and eating at our favorite restaurants.

It may be a little easier to see why it took me a while to find my true passion, as I dabble in many hobbies! However, I'm blessed to say that I can't imagine doing anything else! So, I'm excited you’re here and I can't wait to help you make your hair dreams come true!​
